What’s up peaches and welcome to another episode of the Peach, Please! Podcast!
This week my guest is Josie Wass! Josie is a self-proclaimed fat babe, full-time music teacher, and graduate student studying education in Cincinnati, OH. In 2019, she started her instagram account, @aplusfatshion as a way to document her own body positivity and acceptance journey. Since then, her account has grown into a supportive community all about empowering each other to make peace with our bodies through the development of personal style, and the rejection of diet culture and fashion rules. She hopes to inspire folx to embrace their bodies as they are in this moment and to wear what they want when they want!
In this episode Josie really opens up about her body journey, the reality of what it's like to fight against diet culture, the practice of changing your relationship with food and how fashion has played a part in her body liberation journey. We get into sooo much good stuff and I am cannot wait to hear what you think!
